The seat is fitted with a firm, high-density cushion upholstered in a traditional geometric fabric, providing a sharp contrast to the organic wood tones. While deeply rooted in Kerala heritage, this piece transition effortlessly between a formal dining setting, a traditional “Poomukham” (veranda), or a luxury office space. Nilambur Teak was the first forest produce in India to receive a Geographical Indication (GI) tag, making this chair not just furniture, but a collectible piece of Indian history.
